Electro-magnetic locks ( maglocks ) are increasingly being used in access control and the security industry. Application areas include airports, hospitals, office buildings, mass transit station and doors where access is restricted for security reason or doors which double as emergency exit if a fire breaks out.
Vanguard produces a whole range of maglocks, from 300lbs. to 1500lbs., for surface or mortise ( 300lbs. 600lbs. ) installation and shearlocks. To assist the installer, Vanguard also offers a complete series of brackets, housings and related accessories.
